hello I am 4th year mechatronics student but i want to gate in electrical please tell me how to apply in iit Kanpur automation and robotics branch and what is minimum gate marks for get iitk automations and robotics?????

Hello aspirant,
To pursue Automation and Robotics at IIT Kanpur candidates need to have a CGPA above 5.5. Also you need a valid GATE score. As you are from mechatronics branch you can appear for the GATE Mechanical engineering, paper code ME, It will be more suitable for you than appearing for GATE Electrical.
If you'll appear for GATE electrical it will be different from your branch and will be difficult for you cope with it.
Automation and Robotics welcome candidates from different branches that include
Aerospace Engineering
CSE, ECE, EE,
Mechatronics and Instrumentation Engineering.
Hence apply for GATE for ME paper code. You need not switch to electrical for this.
