The choice between these two fields totally depends on your interest. BSc food technology and Bsc Agriculture both the fields are important and gaining grounds.

BSc food technology is something in which research is going on at faster rate. Recently genetically modified food is being sold out at many markets. Abroad opportunities are also good in food technology.

See both are very good career oriented course to get a job easily with high salary package. But I can suggest you that bsc agriculture is is better option. the demand for trained professionals in field of agriculture is high. The course fee is about negligible. The lowest course fee is rupees 5000 per year.but after completing BSc in agriculture you definitely can get a well paying job. Most of the students are hired as agriculture officer ,agriculture loan officer in banks, firm manager. Some are recruited in various kinds of banks. And the highest salary package in India is about 8 lacs per annum. Hope this will help you.
