Indian Institute of Technology, Madras was established in 1959 by Prof. Humayun Kabir. The institute was introduced under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. Indian Institute of Technology, Madras does not provide any M.Sc in biotechnology course.
