Dear student,

First of all you must mention your category. Now assuming that you belong from general category, then you have to secure a good rank in jee mains from other state quota.

For getting admission and a sure seat in DTU, your jee mains general category rank must be under 10000. That means you have to score at least above 99.2 percentile in jee mains.

For top branches in DTU your jee mains rank must be under 2800 rank, or you can say more than 99.8 percentile score.

Last year the highest cutoff closing rank for DTU for general category students was - 11137 ( in round 4 for environmental engineering).

So, think that even for getting these lower branches your jee mains score must be above 99 percentile, i.e, atleast above 150 marks.

To get admission in DTU, for the lowest branch you have to score 150-180  and for the highest branch you have to score 180-250 . One also needs to secure at least 60% marks (55% for OBC-NCL, 50% for SC/ST/PwD) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII. And your percentile is approximately 97- 98 or more .
