I am doing my XII standard senior secondary course in NIOS.. Am I eligible for applying in TNEA and Anna university

Hey,

To get admission into Anna University, you must apply for TNEA. For TNEA, candidates need to passed HSC or equivalent with minimum 50% marks. And NIOS offers senior secondary course equivalent to class 12th. So, TNEA accepts NIOS.

Technically yes.but there is a catch I think you have to produce a certificate of equivalency issued by the department of education (higher education) to the concerned staff of Anna university during counseling.but the most important problem the NIOS declared their results far behind the last date for applying set by Anna university.so I like to suggest you to have backup plan,just to be safe.contact the TNEA staff for further clarifications.all the best.
