Probably not , the reason behind that is almost across all the NIT the cuttoff will get closed till 45k and across all the IIIT it will be nearer to the 30-35k which might can differ in the certain factors like the cuttoff / branch / category as well but yeah with this , you can have the option to go with the NITs located at the North Eastern states , if the branch is not the point of concern for you.
