In order to take admission in CSE you need to appear for the entrance exams.

To take admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs and GFTIs you should appear for JEE (Main+Advanced) exam. To be eligible you should have 75% marks in your boards exam or you should be in top 20 percentile in general category. For SC/ST you should have 65% marks.

To take admission in top private colleges you can appear in BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, Manipal and Amrita.

It is recommended that you should take admission in top college to get good teaching and placements.
