The admission in DU colleges are based on cutoff  and these cutoff's are related to the 12th marks where the percentage is calculated as (English + Best three subjects )/100 in 12th class.

Now, if we look at the cutoff's of past year it is observed that the cutoffs for colleges are generally above 80% even in the last cutoff lists that are released by some colleges. So, it is tough to get admission in DU colleges with 72.3%  but you can wait for the cutoffs to be released for this year.:
