  • New eligibility criteria for admission in NITs and IITs given by MHRD is as follows:
The candidate should be either in the top 20 percentile cutoff marks or should have minimum 75% marks in XII..

  • For admission in DTU :
The candidate should have scored minimum 50% aggregate  marks in physics , chemistry and maths ( passing separately in each subject) along with passing in English as a core subject...

  • For admission in NSIT:
The student must have secured 75% marks in XII  standard or be in the top 20 percentiles ...

For SC/ST there is 5% relaxation..

So, according to your marks you are not eligible to take admission in NITs ,IITs and NSIT ...

But if your aggregate in phy, chem and maths come out to be 50 % then there are chances for your admission in DTU ..

ALL THE  BEST!!!

Is it correct because many sites told that 60% aggregate is required.

Earlier it was 60% but the MHRD has given a new criteria in that it was 75 % for admission in DTU, NITs , and NSITs..
