Given your general and category rank, I'm assuming you are an OBC candidate. Also since you have mentioned Kancheepuram, with that regards you are from Other state quota. 

Now considering the above criterias, you have an almost zero chances of finding a seat at IIITD. Though if you were from Delhi region, you might then hold a slender of possibility of grabbing the seat in ECE department. 

Well from my knowledge, you should try to hook a seat in the NIT's of the southern region

Reason

1. Very decent curriculum and apt ambience is most likely you will find in the southern state colleges especially if they are NIT's and IIT's.

2. You will be a part of second most Ivy league of our country and yes the tag has its huge benifits like Alma maters, government funding, social recognition and you get chance to be in inter NIT or IIT competitions.

3. In general, seniors at NIT's are more helpfull and supporting as comparison to the seniors at Delhi colleges.
