Ideally SIT Tumkur is a much older technical instituion having excellent faculty, infrastructure and research facilities besides having a very strong curriculum at par with VTU. As far as Placements are Concerned, Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering has a huge locational advantage being located near IT, Technology and Finance Hubs of Bangalore, hence stronger employer outlook and placements.
