      It has good infrastructure and facilities for students

      The labs are very good and well-equipped with Wi-Fi and other facilities needed for students to learn. There are many labs in the CSE Department itself, and on every floor, there are 2 to 3 labs equipped with AC. Most classrooms have a projector or smartboard and have comfortable benches, and they're not congested at all. The hostel rooms are average in size,

      Most teachers here are qualified enough and helpful. But some teachers lack teaching skills. Quality of teaching is above average. The curriculum is good, and they keep updating the syllabus according to the market and job requirements in the industry. The semester exams are based on the topics and syllabus taught by teachers, so it's not very difficult to score if you learn the notes given by teachers.

      Placements

      Around 80 to 90 percent of students were placed in college. The highest package for 2025 batch was 12.88 LPA, while the average was 9 LPA. For 2026 batch, the average package was 34 LPA. The highest package was offered to the student of Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering branch offered by VISA. The average package for CSE is above 10 LPA.       Our department had well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and 24/7 Wi-Fi. The library is extensive and digital resources are also accessible. Hostels are clean and well-maintained, with regular mess food, basic medical facilities, and good sports infrastructure including a gym, basketball, and cricket grounds.

      Teachers at Siddaganga Institute of Technology are generally well-qualified, approachable, and supportive. Many professors have industry experience and higher academic degrees, which is reflected in the way they teach. They are open to student queries and conduct regular mentoring sessions. The curriculum is updated regularly to align with current industry standards, including electives in trending domains like AI, ML, and Data Science.

      I graduated in 2025 from the Electrical & Electrical Engineering (EEE) branch. Around 85-90% of students from our batch were placed. The highest package offered is around 25 LPA (by Adobe), the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Infosys, TCS, Cisco, Accenture, Wipro, and EY. Nearly 70% of students got internships, mostly through college drives, at companies like Bosch, Deloitte, and TCS. Common roles offered are software developed, analyst, QA engineer, and associate consultant.

      Infrastructure and accommodation are very comfortable and good at our college. It has large playgrounds for all the sports, auditoriums, and well-ventilated classrooms with smart boards. Apart from the infrastructure of the college building, the hostel buildings are also well-convenient and ventilated with a good dining area, sleep areas, and study areas.

      Faculty members in SRT are very talented, excellent, and very well-versed in their field of knowledge. They are very supportive and will be available at any time to clear our doubts and questions related to our academics. They not only help us in our academics, but they also help us train to get the best opportunities related to placement.

      Placements in our college have been a great success. It brought many top MNCs and helped us to fetch offers from those top companies by providing many training programs. The placement head and the faculty members related to placement are putting in their utmost efforts to bring out the best companies to the college, and with very good packages, the companies are offering a minimum of 2.5 lakhs to a maximum of 30 to 35 lakhs, which the site is bringing to campus.

      College Infrastructure

      We have all the infrastructure available, such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries. As I'm a day scholar, I know the facilities in the hostels, such as Wi-Fi facilities, hot water, clothes washing, and so on. The food is absolutely good and tasty.

      Academics

      Teachers are well-qualified and clearly explain the topics. They will clarify our doubts. The syllabus they keep is very useful for the company and industries. The semester exams are good. We have to score 40% in both internals and exams for passing.

      Placements

      In SIT, we have almost 100% placements. Our training and placement department will bring all the possible companies. While coming to our branch Electronics and Communication, we have above 70% of packages! The highest package is as high as 60 LPA. Our branch ECE package is 20LPA.
