Dr.B.R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar is a Central Government funded technical Institution. It has been declared as an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Human Resoure Development, Govt of India.

Ranked on number 52 by NIRF MHRD.

While

The Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow is a State government funded technical institute in Lucknow, It is a constituent college of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.

NIRF Ranking: not available, not listed in Top 200 Engineering Colleges by NIRF MHRD.
