Hello,

Students who have completed their MBBS degree from foreign universities in countries such as China, USA, Russia, Ukraine etc are considered as FMGs or Foreign Medical Graduates.

FMGs can only participate in All India Quota Counseling ( 15% seats in Medical colleges) for Post graduation in India. They are not allowed to take part in state counseling for 85% of seats reserved in medical colleges .
