Hello aspirant!
I would advice you to join IIT Kharagpur for Electrical over IIT Bombay for Mechanical. This is because Electrical branch is more in use nowasnow rather than the mechanical branch and it involves coding on some basic level which you seem to be interested in. I wish you all the very best!
