Hi Tushar!!! This is to inform you that in both VIT and SRM counselling you have to pay the required amount which is termed as counselling fee to book your seat in your desired branch or the branch you got during the counselling but don't worry there are many like you who awaits results of JEE Advanced or other colleges. So,for that they'll give you a date before which you can withdraw from the University and you'll be refunded the amount after deducting some money but if you withdraw after the date it will become non-refundable.

Hope that helped.Thank you
