During this years placement season (2016-18), the Institute witnessed a placement with many big names across a diverse range of industries like KPMG, Dunnhumby, HDFC, ICICI and Bristlecone hiring. The top 50 percent of the batch took home an average package of Rs. 10.7 LPA.
During 2015-17 average package was Rs. 9.18 LPA, the highest CTC was Rs. 14.5 Lakhs per annum with top 50 percent securing an average package of Rs. 10.24 Lakhs per annum.

Production and industrial engg is good at IIT ROORKEE .The avg placement there is at about 6 to 7 lpa .However NIT warangal is better as compared to it in terms of placement .Here avergar placement ranges from 10 to 11 lpa.
