According to the rule you have to cancel your seat or else you won't get in another college even if you got in round 1 and then again in round 2 then you have to first cancel the round 1 seat to get round 2 seat confirmed and your case is its have been 1 year seat alloted to your brother.You guys have made mistake of not cancelling the seat.You should go to DTE and talk about the same.

Hey Sudhakar,

This is a serious issue , you must talk to the designated officer and try to explain him the things because it might be possible that not cancelling the seat may have result in auto-selection of the seat but if you haven't paid the admission fee then how can you be admitted to an engineering college and if the officer is saying that your brother is admitted then ask the officer that can you withdraw your admission from the previous college and then take admission according to this year's rank.
