TS eamcet is an entrance exam conducted to get admissions in engineering colleges organized by the Telangana State board.

For the rank you got and the category you belong, it is quite hard to get seat in Osmania University. Since it is one of the top most engineering colleges, many top rankers opt that college. You can't get seat in 1st round of counselling. Try for 2nd or 3rd.

Hello candidate.As you mentioned that your rank is 7979 under BC-B category, it is very difficult to get ECE in Osmania University. Your rank is too high to get admission in Osmania University.Not only in 1st counselling but also there is no chance to get admission in 2nd and 3rd counselling.Better go with another college.
