If you don't have the domicile of West Bengal,  then also you can appear for spot counselling round in any private institutions of West Bengal through your WBJEE matks and ranks.

Also, as Jadavpur university is a public or state university then your chances of getting a seat there is like 50-50% only.

Still if you wish, you can go and hope for the best .

Hello aspirant . Kindly mention your category . Well assuming that you are from general category . 1854 rank can fetch you a seat in Jadav our University ,in spot round. You are in a good college, now as well , but you should attend JU's spot round counseling. In case you get a desired branch , it would be great. You have chances of getting selected as well
