Yes, you can persue MA in IIT Madras.You will have to apply for Entrance Test named Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE) conducted by IIT Madras.Admission will be done on the basis of marks scored in entrance test.

yes To be eligible for admission, the student should have scored 60% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PD) marks in aggregate in board examination and JEE(Main) & JEE (Advanced)

1. Admission is solely through Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination (HSEE).
2. The programme has a total of 52 seats; each stream will have 26 seats.
3. Allocations of seats to individual streams will be made based on the academic performance of students (CGPA) during the first three semesters, students' preferences, and availability of seats under each discipline.
