Congrats on securing a wonderful rank Rishi, but it seems like IIT Delhi electrical engineering will be a tough call here.

Last year, the closing rank was 438 for the same branch in IITD by the end of 7th round.

Things can definitely change anytime but as of now I would suggest you to not get disheartened and try for other IITs as there are many iits at par with IITD.

Congratulations on getting AIR 700 in JEE Advanced. IIT Delhi provides two ee courses:

• Electrical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering (power and automation)

Now according to my analysis you can easily get the second one i.e. power and automation. It is quite difficult to get electrical engineering and that too till 7th round.

You can go for other branches or if you want to continue with ee then go for some other IIT. hope you will get your dream college
