If you talk about the past year data for placements of mathematics Honours students from Hansraj College then firstly I would talk about the placements from Hansraj College the highest package that has ever got is 18 lacs and it is average package of 9 to 10 lacs so the placement records are quite good in Hansraj College but if you talk about BSc mathematics course then  it is a theoretical course and doesn't have much applications in the IT field companies but you can get a placement in some consulting companies yes Hansraj has a placement cell as well but there are no guaranteed  placements . If you have a 40% to 50% chance of getting placements and that too even if you have done internships doing your graduation or have some extra skills apart from BSc Hons mathematics.

Hansraj college is a very prestigious and renowned college which is a part of University of Delhi. it offers BSc math which is a three year full time undergraduate course for students. the cut offs usually are above 95 percent for general candidates. placements at Hans raj college for BSc in math are not too good. but, they are decent. the placement rate is around 70 percent and the average placement package offered is 4-5 Lakhs per annum for BSc math graduates. mainly companies in the field of sales are seen during the campus recruitment. you can go for off campus placements or even banking. banking is one of the most feasible and best options after BSc in mathematics.
