Hi Aastha ,  Both the colleges are good private colleges for B.tech also and for other IG courses. Both have the good placements. BITS is a best college since it started. But from last 5-6 years VIIT Is also compitating to BITS very well. So you can choose any one of them. You dont think about quality of education or placement or about campus. You just think about your preference. Means you think that which will be easy for you to attend according to your financial condition.

Definitely BITS Pilani is best for CSE department and is widely renowned campus across India for its Placements and Crore plus salary package.
Around 150 Students placed within 2 days at BITS with highest domestic package at 23LPA and Highest international at 1.3Crore per Annum.
Average package is 6- 9LPa for CSE.
Almost 100% Placements and top Recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, BOA, Uber, Wipro, Cisco.
It has the best Infrastructure and best experience professor.
As far as VIT is concerned, Vellore is best.
Overall Placements near to 100 Percentile woth 4-6LPA as Average package, highest at 18LPA.
Decent Faculty and Infrastructure.
Return on Investment is better at BITS and is ranked way higher than VIT.
