I am currently studying at VIT vellore.. 

So i can give you some points about vit

Consider the following points and then decide for yourself.
First, the good points:
1. Good infrastructure
2. Very good messes
3. Decent student quality
4. The management wants to improve the college
Now, the bad:
1. The place is very crowded: 25000 students in a 300 acre campus 200 acres of which are occupied by hostels
2. Faculty quality is just satisfactory
3. Their assessments are very bad. If you thought you have to cram only during school think again. You cannot clear the assessments if you cannot cram (mug up)
4. Despite what the management may declare, students' freedom is limited. If you try to expose the bad points of VIT you will get in trouble and that is why I am posting this anonymously (I am currently studying in VIT).
