Well i have enrolled for pg course in DU but i do not have the confidence that i will pass. So in case if I fail in my entrance exam, can I reappear for it next year? or should i just leave it? will I have any disadvantage the next year since i failed?

Yes, you can reappear for the exam next year, there won't be any disadvantage in Delhi University. Usually in an academic post graduation courses there is no disadvantage as such if you lose out on a year. Because students even take a year gap for preparing for various entrance exams, some even do part-time jobs and then go for post graduation. I don't think that would be a problem, especially in this pandemic year when lots of people are unable to even sit for the exam. Giving my own example, I also applied for the PG course's entrance exam but couldn't appear for the exam.

So, don't worry you can again give it another attempt next year.

Also, you might just crack it this year only. Just wait for the results.
