There are some eligibility criteria to get admission i.e 

You need tosecure atleast 75%marks ( general and OBC ) in 12 th boards 

And it 65 % for sc/ St 

Or you must be in top 20 percentile .

Along with it you have to secure rank under 40-45 thousand ( vary according to College and branch) for admission in decent nit or IIIT .
