The CAT rank is decided based on the percentile obtained by candidates in the entrance examination. There is no fixed cutoff to get admission to the India's best business school and these cutoffs vary every year depending upon a number of factors. Even a 99 percentile in the CAT does not guarantee admission as the selection process of business schools is very complex and takes a lot of factors into the consideration such as Class 10, Class 12, Graduation, work experience, academic, and gender diversity, etc. Above all candidates must also perform well in the WATPI/ GDPI process.
