ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Admission to the research courses offered by MIT is subject to meeting the basic eligibility criteria set by Anna University. The candidate is further required to score a minimum of 6.75 CGPA in M.Tech, M.E./M.A/M.Sc. and at least 55% marks in the relevant subject to be eligible to apply.Dec 14, 2018

The basic minimum eligibility for UG courses is 10+2 in Science stream with 50% marks in PCM

For PG courses, the basic eligibility criteria is a graduate degree in the relevant discipline, and for research programs, post-graduate degree or diploma in the relevant discipline is required 

BE/BTech candidates are selected on the basis of TNEA counselling.

APPLICATION PROCESS



B.Tech candidates are admitted only through TNEA, a single window state-wide counselling conducted by Anna University.

M.Tech candidates are expected to appear for GATE or TANCET for admissions.

For Ph.D./MS programs, the candidate can apply online/offline for which the applications can be downloaded from the university website or collected from the admission cell.

 hi nitish,congrats for getting 266 rank its quite descent rank and yes you will get all branches in all available options and Considering your rank you there is a fair chance that you can get into CSE department of all above mentioned colleges. So don't missout the registration process. Do participate in the counselling. You can check your state level ranking in the TNEA website itself. Also, it would show the tentative allotments as per the priorities chosen.
