see the both of the institute you have mentioned is best for their engineering placement. however mba placement is moderate and salary package offered is lower than the tier 1 institute. based on students review between this two institute ST joseph engineering college is preferable, placement for mba course is moderate, highest salary offered is 6 lpa. lowest salary package is 2 lpa. apart from college you also need to search job positions by you self  and try for internship while you would study in final year.
