Nits has very distinct curriculum and excellent professors which makes it different from other private colleges and institute in India. many of the nit students has placed in abroad companies and after btech many students go for abroad to do ms courses. now it depends on which of the stream you may go for. if you get cse/ee/ece/mechanical/ civil /IT in NIT durgapur then go for it. there is excellent placement and some of the psu like coal INDIA is a recruiter in NIT durgapur along with tcs, cognizant, infosys like IT giant.
