Central University of Kashmir is a public university established in the year 2009 under the Central Universities Act, 2009. The university has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a ‘B++’ grade. There are a total of 131 faculty members at Central University of Kashmir. The varsity campus is spread over an area of 503 acres. The varsity has a training & placement (T&P) cell to provide placement opportunities to students. Central University of Kashmir placement cell maintains links with the corporates. Throughout the year, the placement cell conducts various activities to prepare students for the placement drive. Central University of Kashmir placement cell helps students in developing their personality.
