Master of Business Administration (MBA) is one of the postgraduate programmes of the University. It Is Full-Time Course and It Is Offered by Central University of Kashmir, Srinagar.
The MBA programme has been designed for talented professionals wishing to develop their knowledge of management. To be taught through a mixture of interactive seminars, lectures, case studies and group work, the programme will provide a comprehensive grounding in business fundamentals. To infuse innovativeness in the design of the programme, focus will be on areas of particular interest, for example Finance, Strategy, Marketing, Human Resources Event Management , Entrepreneurship etc , through careful selection of the varied range of electives, consulting projects and special interest groups. Group project work will be an important collaborative work as this is where classroom learning meets practical application. Consulting with both local and international companies will be arranged so that the students gain a unique insight into real-life business issues. Liaison with national and international companies will be fostered to harness decent placements for the pass outs. The Programme will be launched by the University in the academic year 2010-11.
Candidates would be shortlisted for Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD/PI) on the basis of CMAT Score.
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD) from a recognized Indian University or any other equivalent examination (candidates who are expecting to complete their Bachelor’s Degree before the date of conduct of Group Discussion & Personal Interview can also apply).
