The team of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind hoisted its flag in the 37th All India National University Youth Festival held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana from March 28- April 1, 2024.

Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University (CRSU Jind) was established in the year 2014 by the Government of Haryana Legislature Act 28 of 2014. The university was named as Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind (CRSU). The university is recognised under section 12 (b) & 2 (f) of UGC Act, 1956.

The campus is spread over 75 acres of land. CRSU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The mission and vision of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University is to give certain quality education by creating a good environment for the students.

Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University provides many facilities for the students so that their stay becomes easy during their academic life. Separate hostels for boys and girls, gym, sports facilities, language laboratories, library, computer centre, medical facilities, etc are available for the students. Students can also avail central and state government scholarship schemes. CRSU also has a career and counselling cell that is responsible for placement-related activities. CRSU career and counselling cell also provides training to the students.

CRSU Jind Scholarship

The university does not provide its own scholarships but the students can avail the state government and central government scholarship scheme. CRSU scholarships are awarded to the meritorious and needy students who are from economically weaker sections of society. Some of the CRSU scholarships are Post Matric Scholarship Scheme, National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education of ST Students, Post Matric Scholarship For Disabilities, Top Class Education for Students with Disabilities, etc. These Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University scholarships remove the financial burden on the students.
