CMJ University, Shillong Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides separate hostel accommodation for boys. CMJ University Shillong boys hostel facilities include spacious and comfortable rooms, morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea, evening snacks and dinner. Non-veg meals are provided three times a week.

The University provides separate hostel accommodation for girls. Stylishly designed spacious and comfortable rooms are provided. Students are not allowed to leave the hostel without the hostel warden or guardian permission. Hostel fee once paid is non-refundable.

CMJ University Shillong provides convenience store facility to the students inside the campus. The students can get all the required items such as stationary items from the convenience store. 

Gym facility is provided to the students inside the campus. Gym timings are flexible. Students can go to the gym either in the morning or in the evening. The gym is equipped with modern equipment.

The library has an open access system. CMJ University Shillong library facilities include a lavish collection of books, reports, periodicals and reference materials, subscription to technical journals, magazines, newspapers and  photocopy, lamination and spiral binding facilities.

There is a separate sports complex inside the campus. The complex is spread over two floors. There is a space for indoor and outdoor sports. CMJ University Shillong sports facilities include football ground, volleyball court, basket ball court, badminton court, separate coaching for sports for interested students and some other sports facilities.

CMJ University Shillong provides I.T infrastructure facilities to the students. The software gallery is equipped with the latest software. All labs are on LAN. Seminars and workshops are conducted with the help of real time systems and .NET technologies for maximum exposure.

A fully furnished cafeteria is available inside the campus. All types of nutritious and hygienic food and beverages along with north east ethnic dishes are available in this cafeteria.

The college provides state of the art laboratory facilities to the students. The computing labs deal with the latest computing facilities with high speed internet connectivity.

CMJ University Shillong provides auditorium facility to the students. Seminars, workshops, guest lectures are organised and events are celebrated in the auditorium.

CMJ University Shillong provides a guest room facility to both family members of students and visiting faculty. All the required amenities are provided in the guest room.

CMJ University Shillong has a first aid center and is tied up with nearby hospitals. The health center provides emergency care in times of emergency and general medical care 24*7. It has a vehicle for medical related emergencies.

The University is planning to create a centralised placement cell to take care of pre-placement training and placement needs of graduate and post-graduate students.
