Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) Ranchi is a state university located in Morabadi, Ranchi. The university was established in 1926 as a Government Intermediate College. Initially, the university was known as Ranchi College, however, it was upgraded to a Unitary State University and is known as Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University. In the year 2009, the university was accorded the status of Autonomous College by UGC.

College Infrastructure
•Our college provides an elevator facility. •We have Wi-Fi, many labs, a separate classroom for each lecture, one huge library, a park, a hall, a canteen, a free parking lot, an auditorium, etc •The old campus is approximately 75 years old, so the infrastructure is not very good. The new campus is average but not great when it comes to the college hostel. Yes, there is a hostel in the college, but it is only for SC, ST, and Christian students, not for students from the general category or OBC category.
A quite good college with all the basic facilities.

College Infrastructure
There is a new building for all the vocational courses which gives positive environment for students as well as faculties. Lift facility is also available there. There is a separate auditorium for various types of cultural activities.

As you have mentioned that you have got 78% in cbse boards this year and many of them have also got 90% in their 12th so let me tell you that the cut offs are genuinely not available in the website so you need to contact the college authorities regarding this because they would be able to tell you the exact data.
