About Gulbarga University

Gulbarga University GUG (Gulbarga University Gulbarga) was established in 1980 under an act of the Karnataka State. There are 305 colleges that are associated with Gulbarga University in total. The university is accredited by the NAAC and has clearance from the UGC and AICTE. Here, there are 154 courses available at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. GU Gulbarga courses are offered to students in different branches of study such as Education, Commerce, Sciences, Engineering and Architecture, Media Mass Communication, Journalism and others such as B.P.Ed., M.Sc., M.B.A., M.Com., M.C.A and others. The University has been designated as an affiliating university under Sections 2(f) and 12(b) of the University Grants Commission Act of 1956. From 1970 to 1980, it served as a postgraduate centre for Karnataka University in Dharwad. Jnana Ganga University's main campus, which spans 800 acres and is covered in greenery, is located in the northeastern region of Karnataka, with a postgraduate facility in the taluka capital of Aland.

The GUG admission to a number of degrees through various entrance examinations and interviews in accordance with the approved admissions process. Higher education that is focused on the natural world and uses technology wisely and holistically will advance human welfare. The GU Gulbarga infrastructural facilities and services available to students are very diverse. The GUG placements are provided to students through its specialised placement division.

College Infrastructure

Our college provided very facilities and infrastructure for all the departments, parking were there , The practical labs were very good . Our college have very huge library with a good environment . The hostel was good but very far away from our college. The living spaces are very clean and the food were hygienic .
