72 MonthsThe Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) program in Civil Engineering shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, offered by ICFAI University, Tripura.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate seeking admission to Ph.D. The program must satisfy the following relevant academic criteria:
- A two–year postgraduate degree or equivalent from a recognized Institution, with 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in the concerned subject. OR
- A regular, full-time M. Phil degree from any recognized University. OR
- A professional qualification like CFA/CA/ICWA/CS with 55% and above marks for management candidates. OR
- B. Tech/ BE with 75% Marks or equivalent CGPA.
Admission Details
The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR/JRF/NET/GATE/GPAT/SET or any other similar examination, as the case may be, shall be exempted from sitting in the Research Aptitude Test (RAPT).
