Academics
If you are talking about the academics of Icfai University, Tripura you will be shocked because our faculties are a mixed bag of intelligence, funny, work oriented in my department. What I like is that they don’t stick to the textbook-we had case studies, presentation and industry examples regularly. Also we used to visit masala factories or any other industry regular basis. You will actually learn something here. For Self learners, the academic calendar gives you enough time to work on projects and certifications outside.
College Infra
The campus is clean, green and well maintained for a university in Tripura. It is spread over hundred acres of land. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and decent sitting, so you don’t feel like you are stuck in a 90s set up. The library is the highlight for me.- it’s quite, has a good collection of books and journals, also it includes books regarding competitive exams, it is the place where I have studied for my competitive exams. And the digital access helped me a lot during assignments. Wi-Fi works fine. In most academic blocks, it can slowdown during peak hours. Labs for CS and engineering are functional, but if you are expecting IIT level equipment, this isn’t it. For the fees, it’s value for money.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. You can make friends or you can be in a relationship with a good partner because Icfai not only gives you academic sessions, but it also build relationship between people and healthy loving environment
Placements
Placements are decent for a private university in the notice. The placement sale is active and brings in companies for IT, management and core roles. Most of my batch Mates got placed in companies like TCS, Wipro, and a few regional firms, with packages ranging from 3 to 5 LPA. Mass recruiters dominate here, so if you are aiming for FAANG-level roles write out of college, you will need to work on it yourself. The university supports you with mock interviews, resume, building, and soft skills, training, which helps if you put in the effort. Internship opportunities could be stronger, but they do help with referrals and references.
Value For Money
Yes, it is value for money if you are looking for a disciplined and environment, supportive Faculty and a campus that won’t distract you Icfai university, also, does the biggest freshers party in Tripura every year

In 2022-25 batch the faculties were mostly old age and they have been following the traditional methods of teaching which was not so satisfactory as a management student but some faculties were really good.
College Infra
The college has great infrastructure and all the facilites were great. But we had no lift and we've to go to the fifth floor by stairs. The campus has good places for hangout and overall it was a beautiful campus
Campus Life

Placements
Campus placements are avg just like any other tier 3 college ( Pvt ) and mostly in management field we were getting sales job. very less candidate got placed in their core field. I got one of the highest package which was 6.5lac.

Academics was not that good enough but they generally focus on theoretical part more than teaching practical knowledge so they provide School like Academics generally focusing on theoretical part not much on market requirements

overall the college infrastructure was good enough but it makes you facilities but good enough according to the price I pay it has AC ventilation but AC was not proper working and also there is no smart board
Campus Life
campus life was overall good we got many friends we did many activities together we participated on many case comes and other so overall the campus drive for good but not that far enough
Placements
placement provided was very poor the placement cell was like a dead they don't provide they don't put much efforts in placement and only local company visit the collage, collage would have done much better if more effort were put
Value For Money
it was value for money but we don't get many for replacement opportunity we have to find it by ourselves campus do not provide very good placement opportunities better find offcampus placement
