The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Meghalaya was established by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University Act, 2005. ICFAI Tura Meghalaya is among the 11 universities of ICFAI University, established in 1984. ICFAI University Tura is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The vision and mission of the university is to provide quality education and contribute to socio-economic development. 

ICFAI provides courses like BBA, BCA, BCom, BA, BTTM, MBA, MTTM, MCom, MA and MCA. ICFAI university offers full time courses. Students have to meet the eligibility criteria to be qualified for admission in ICFAI Tura. Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes requires passing marks in 10+2 and graduation respectively. Students whose final exam or final year results are awaited can also apply. After that, students will be selected on the basis of screening of applications and interview. The university does not provide its scholarship.

The university also has a training and placement cell, which conducts placement every year for the final year students. ICFAI is located in Danakgre, PO Araimile, Tura, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. One can travel by air, rail or road to reach the university. The nearest railway station is Dhubri Railway Station. It is at a distance of 92.1 kms from the university. Rupsi Airport is the nearest airport to the university. It is 108 kms away from the university. The nearest bus stand is Meghalaya Transport Corporation Bus Stand. It is 8.9 kms away from ICFAI Tura.

ICFAI University Tura has state-of-the-art facilities to provide a comfortable environment to its students and faculty members. ICFAI library is built over an area of 2,415 square feet. The university library facility consists of 12,107 books, 42 journals, 1,307 magazines, 8 newspapers and 112 CD/DVDs. Students can spend their free time learning and reading in the library. Students can delve deeper into their subjects with all the resources available in the library. The university IT infrastructure is well maintained and consists of computers all connected with LAN. Online lectures, training, video conferencing, research, etc are conducted with the help of high-speed internet facility on the campus. The university computer centre is spread over 1,300 square feet area. 

ICFAI University Tura also provides a cafeteria facility. The cafeteria provides healthy and hygienically prepared  food to its students and staff members. Students can hang out in their free time in the campus cafeteria. The university also has an in-house medical clinic and provides 24X7 medical support. ICFAI Tura sports facilities include both indoor and outdoor games. Indoor games include chess, carrom, table tennis, etc . There are separate fields maintained for outdoor games like cricket, basketball, etc.The university campus has 16 classrooms, 1 administration room, 2 halls, 2 faculty rooms and many more.

ICFAI University Tura Meghalaya provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The various undergraduate and postgraduate courses are  BBA, BCA, BCom, BA, BTTM, MBA, MTTM, MCom, MA and MCA. To apply for any of the undergraduate or postgraduate courses, students have to meet the eligibility criteria. Eligibility criteria for undergraduate courses is to have passed 10+2. Students, whose final exam results are awaited can also apply. The eligibility criteria for postgraduate course is minimum aggregate marks in graduation. Students can also apply if their final year results are awaited. After meeting the eligibility criteria, students have to go through the university screening process and interview for final selection.

ICFAI Tura provides admissions at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. ICFAI University Tura undergraduate courses are  BBA, BCA, BCom, BA and  BTTM. ICFAI Tura postgraduate courses are MBA, MTTM, MCom, MA and MCA. For admission to any of the above courses, students first have to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. After meeting the eligibility criteria, students can fill the online/offline application form of the university. Attested documents are also needed to be attached at the time of submission of the application form. While screening applications, weightage is given on academic scores, awards in  sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extracurricular activities. Selected students have to submit their original documents and pay the fees.

• Students should meet the minimum eligibility criteria.

• Once the eligibility criteria are met, students have to fill the online/offline application form of the university and attach the attested documents.

• Screening of applications and interviews will be conducted.

ICFAI University Tura Meghalaya has a placement cell that conducts all the placement activities. The placement is conducted for the final year students every year. The placement team handles the placement process. The placement team comprises of senior professionals and faculty members. The placement begins with an evaluation of students’ performance, training the students, which include guest lectures, seminars, workshops, mock interviews, etc and ends with final placement in the companies. Students of ICFAI University Tura have been placed in leading companies. The placement cell maintains continuous relations with industries so that students can be trained accordingly. The placement team acts as an intermediary between the students and the industries and facilitates the placement process. Summer internships are also conducted by ICFAI Tura.
