Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bhopal is located in Madhya Pradesh at a distance of 15 Km from Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal. IIIT Bhopal Infrastructure and Facilities offers for the material and intellectual progress of its students. The holistic development of the students is enhanced by the support of available infrastructure and ensures their growth and development in a technologically sound and advancing environment. Yeah the college have necessary equipment not in a best way but it's a new college so it have good facilities.....wifi ... libraries...projectors...hostel is 16 km away due to lack of building but sports n gym is there ....n awesome environment is there ...it is situated in RGPV COLLEGE...bus service is provided...if anyone wants to enjoy 1st year must take hostel..

It is difficult to pick between these two universities given that you are asking for mechanical at IIIT Jabalpur and IT at IIIT Bhopal. However, since both of these colleges are among the best IIITs and both offer excellent placements, I would advise you to attend IT at IIIT Bhopal.

MACT, the previous name of NIT Bhopal, was founded in 1960 and changed to NIT Bhopal in 2002. Currently, it has well-established faculties, laboratories, classrooms, lodging, etc. When compared to IIIT Bhopal, the teaching and research quality is likewise quite good. It now occupies the 55th spot among Indian universities.
Since IIIT Bhopal was founded in 2017 and is now housed on the RGPV campus, there is no private campus, no visiting faculty, no labs, and no research activity. Manit Bhopal, the institute's mentor, is also a man.
Therefore, the choice of institution is entirely up to you, friend.

The facilities are shared among the students of both institutions. There is a facility of library and computer centres. Students have access to banking facilities also through the State Bank of India on the MANIT campus. Other facilities provided to the students include - medical dispensary, canteen, cafeteria, post office facility and hostels.
IIIT, Bhopal at present offers only one course with three specializations. The institute offers B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering and B.Tech Information Technology. The institute has a seat intake of 75 in each of these courses.
IIIT, Bhopal students are eligible for various central and state undergraduate scholarship schemes. The institute offers a total of 57 central and state scholarships to its enrolled students to facilitate the smooth progression of their higher education. There are scholarships for economically weaker background students and the institute grants fee waivers to its meritorious students and some of its girl students (rural category) in its various scholarship schemes. IIIT, Bhopal is a Not-for-profit Public Private Partnership (N-PPP) Institution. It was established by the Ministry of Education (MoE) under the Indian government in collaboration with the Madhya Pradesh government and private companies partnerships. The institute is located on the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology campus area and aims to construct a permanent IIIT, Bhopal campus of its own on the 50 acres land which has been allotted to the institute by the Bhopal government.
Students can keep cell phones with themselves on the IIIT, Bhopal campus. However, students are refrained from carrying mobile phones during the examination day, as they are prohibited inside the examination hall.
At present, IIIT, Bhopal has 75 seats in each of its three B.Tech. courses. The institute has been gradually increasing the number of seats available. The institute had only 60 seats in each of its B.Tech courses when it was founded in 2017.
IIIT, Bhopal is an emerging engineering college. It has been recently established and founded in 2017 and offers courses in B.Tech degree only. The college has been allotted 50 acres of land by the Bhopal government to build its own campus. Presently, IIIT, Bhopal is located on the MANIT campus (Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology). The college has quickly picked up popularity and aims to offer more facilities and courses. Presently, IIIT, Bhopal offers 3 courses only namely - B.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering, B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering and B.Tech. Information Technology.
