The Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) Izatnagar was established in 1889. IVRI is one of the research institutions dedicated to livestock research and development of the region and an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Institution. The Institute has been conferred the status of Deemed to be University with effect from 1983.

Indian Veterinary Research Institute Bareilly awards degrees to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in more than 20 disciplines of veterinary and animal sciences, livestock products technology, basic sciences and extension education. The IVRI Bareilly offers courses for B.V.Sc, M.V.SC and Ph.D programmes in veterinary preventive medicine, animal husbandry, veterinary biological products, animal reproduction, poultry husbandry, medicine and surgery, zoo and wild animal health care and management, meat and meat products technology. The IVRI Bareilly UG admissions are based on the NEET entrance examination scores. The Indian Veterinary Research Institute Izatnagar postgraduate admission considers ICAR IEEA examination ranks.

The Indian Veterinary Research Institute Bareilly Ph.D admissions are considered based on All India Competitive Examination conducted by ICAR through NTA. what is the cut off marks and rank through icar exam for getting into mvsc at ivri ,izatnagar

Hi Aspirant ,

NTA is conducting ICAR AIEEA UG 2020. So far, the examination has been moderate in the level of difficulty but exerts say it was tougher than NEET. Candidates scoring 50% – 40% will have good chances of securing a seat in ICAR colleges. The cutoff marks are prepared after the results are announced. Cutoff marks are decided based on the number of candidates appearing the exam and the total number of seats available .I'll list the cutoff marks category wise :

General - Your score must be around 450 and rank is 400.
OBC - For OBC , the mark is 430 and rank must be 680.
SC - score is 365 and the rank is 2550 .
ST - score is 310 and rank is 4550.

How to get admission in Bvsc in IVRI in 2019 ?

Hello Mansi,

In order to take admission in BVSc and AH course offered by IVRI, Izatnagar this year you need to appear in NEET. In NEET, you will need to get good marks and make it the first counseling list of Veterinary Council of India. Then, you can attend the counseling and choose IVRI for admission.
