Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE), Coimbatore was established in 2008 under the UGC Act, 1956. KAHE is approved by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India. It is also approved by AICTE to conduct engineering and technology, MBA, MCA, pharmacy and architecture programmes and approved by Council of Architecture and Pharmacy Council of India to conduct architecture programme and pharmacy programme respectively.
Location: Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore is located at Salem - Kochi, Eachanari, Tamil Nadu. Irugur Junction is 19 km away and the TNSTC Bus Depot is about 24 km away from the KAHE. The Coimbatore International Airport is about 30 km from the Institute.

Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC): The objective of this cell of KAHE is to provide various information with reference to starting a business to budding student entrepreneurs. It fosters better linkages between industries and various colleges and promotes innovation through the establishment of incubation centre. The cell regularly organises camps, seminars, workshops, industrial visits and other developmental programmes.
Alumni Association: This association of KAHE is dedicated to advancing innovation and technological excellence for the benefit of humanity.
NSS: NSS volunteers of KAHE actively take part in a variety of activities, which promote social work and other nation-building activities.
NCC: NCC fortifies character, command and discipline among the students. It provides framing for a career in the forces. NCC Cadet Crop of the KAHE organises and trains youth and provides leadership in all walks of life including the Armed and Navy forces. It also creates a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces.
Courses & Fees
Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE), Coimbatore offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in art, commerce, science, computer application, management and architecture. Admission to these courses is through the entrance examination conducted by the University. To get admission to the B.Arch, candidates have to appear for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA). The detailed admission process of the courses offered by the KAHA is mentioned below.
KAHE admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in humanities, science, commerce, engineering, management and computer application:
- Candidates seeking admission at KAHE for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses have to download the application form from the KAHE website and submit the filled-in application form along with the requisite fee and documents.
- The admission committee shortlists the application form based on the qualifying marks and publishes the merit list.
- Based on the merit list candidates will be called for the admission at the respective faculty.
- Admissions to the certain faculty will be confirmed to the candidates after the documents verification and fee payment.
KAHE admission process for B.Arch:
- Admission to B.Arch courses is through the NATA.
- Candidates, willing to get admission to B.Arch have to appear for the NATA and must have a valid score in it.
- In the counselling, they have to confirm their choices for the KAHE and accordingly they will get the seat allotment.
- Based on the seat allotment, candidates have to visit the KAHE and complete the admission process, which includes documents verifications and fee payment.

Careers360 shortlists over 5000 colleges across domains each year. Out of these colleges, only those colleges are rated/ranked which provide transparent data requested by Careers360. The cumulative scores of colleges are then calculated and they are divided into clusters as per their scores. There are eight hostel buildings in the University six for Men. The hostels have office room, store room, kitchen, dining hall, provision for water, TV, telephone and other basic amenities. Each room is provided with basic amenities. There are provisions in the hostels for indoor games, physical fitness equipment, yoga classes, computer lab and reading rooms. WiFi is available in all hostels. Solar water heating systems are available in the ladies hostels. The strength of students in the Men’s hostel is 1377.
