Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University (KMCLU) is a state university established in 2009 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The university is named after the famous Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, who is also known as Gharib Nawaz (Benefactor of the Poor). The university is accredited by NAAC and recognized by UGC.

KMCLU University offers a wide range of courses in various disciplines, including languages, literature, culture, social sciences, education, journalism and mass communication. These KMCLU courses are available at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Some of the popular courses include BA (Hons) in Urdu, Arabic, Persian, English, Hindi and Sanskrit; MA in Urdu, Arabic, Persian, English, Hindi and Sanskrit; PhD in Urdu, Arabic, Persian, English, Hindi and Sanskrit; BEd; MEd; MJMC; Diploma in Translation; and Certificate in Spoken Arabic. The university conducts entrance exams for admission to some of the courses. The KMCLU entrance exams are based on the syllabus prescribed by the university. The candidates have to qualify the entrance exam and fulfill the KMCLU eligibility criteria to get admission to the university.
