Maharishi University of Management and Technology in Mangla, Bilaspur (C.G), was established under the Chhattisgarh Private Universities (Establishment and Operations) (Amendment) Act 2018, receiving approval in April 2018. It is led by Dr Girish Chandra Varma as Chancellor, Col (Dr) T.P.S. Kandra as Vice-Chancellor, and Dr. Vijay Garudik as Registrar. MUMT is recognized by the UGC and is a member of AIU, New Delhi. As the first private university in Bilaspur City, it provides a well-equipped campus with hostel facilities, laboratories, and playgrounds.
