• CUET-UG 2024 result for admission to UG courses at Mahatma Gandhi Central University will be released on June 30, 2024.
• Students are advised to take note that the deadline for submitting hostel applications for the Kasturba Gandhi Women's Hostel has been extended until July 1st, 2024.
• Candidates applying for MBA admissions through CAT must register for admissions on the official website and the last date to register is July 10, 2024.  
• The registration process for admission at the university will commence soon online for session 2024-25. 

Mahatma Gandhi Central University (MGCU) Motihari, is a central university located in Motihari city of Bihar. It was established in 2014 by an Act of Parliament, with the aim of providing quality higher education in various fields. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in various disciplines such as Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Sciences, Management and Business Administration and Engineering. 

MGCU Motihari courses include B.A., B.Tech, B.Com Hons, M.B.A., M.Phil, M.A., M.Tech, M.S.W., and PhD. The courses are designed to impart knowledge and skills that are relevant to the current industry demands and societal needs. The fees and eligibility criteria vary from course to course. For MGCU admission, candidates have to appear in the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) examination, conducted by the NTA. The university accepts CUET-UG scores for UG admission and CUET-PG scores for PG admission. Qualified candidates must apply through the university’s admission portal.

Mahatma Gandhi Central University Motihari Location

The university is located in the East Champaran district of Bihar. The campus is spread over an area of 22 acres and is located in a peaceful environment. The university has good connectivity with all the major cities and is easily accessible. The Motihari bus station is at a distance of about 3.8 km from the university. Motihari railway station is about 2 km away from the university. Students can hire a cab or taxi to reach the university.
