About Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda

Nalgonda University, established in 2007 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, is a reflection of the government's commitment to advancing accessibility, fairness, and inclusivity in higher education. In 2008, the government officially renamed this institution as Mahatma Gandhi University. During the reporting year 2010-11, the university's headquarters were situated in Nalgonda town. The university is presently under development on a 240-acre plot of land provided by the state along the Nalgonda-Narketpally state highway in Anneparthy, which is 7 kilometers from Nalgonda town.
