Manav Bharti University was established in 2009. MBU Solan has taken approval from University Grants Commission, Government of Himachal Pradesh, Pharmacy council of India, Bar Council of India and AICTE. Manav Bharti University was accredited by NAAC, Bangalore.
MBU Solan offers admissions to various courses at the diploma, undergraduate and post-graduation levels. These courses are B.Tech, BCA, BBA, BA, B.Com, D.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy, LLB, BA-LLB, LLM, MBA, MA(English), M.Com and D.EI.Ed. MBU Solan admission to most of the courses is through MBU entrance test. Few other entrance exams like JEE Main, CAT/MAT and GATE are also accepted for courses like B.Tech, MBA, D. Pharmacy and B.Pharmacy, respectively. Manav Bharti University was established as a State Private University by the State Legislature of Himachal Pradesh.
