National Institute Of Design Andhra Pradesh Vijayawada was established in September 2015. The institution offers courses at the undergraduate level in the Design field. Courses offered by NID Andhra Pradesh include B.Des Textile and Apparel Design, B.Des Industrial Design and B.Des Communication Design. The duration of all the courses is 4 years. 

Students who wish to enrol in an undergraduate programme at the National Institute of Design Andhra Pradesh Vijayawada must take the NIT DAT.  Eligibility criteria for admissions, candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognised board.
