National Law University, Meghalaya was established in 2022. The state university provides admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in the law stream. The NLU Meghalaya full-time courses offered are B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.), BBA LLB Hons, B.Sc L.L.B. (Hons.), LLM Corporate Law. and Ph.D. NLU Meghalaya admissions are offered based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination. The duration of the NLU Meghalaya courses lasts from 1 year to 6 years. All the NLU Meghalaya courses are offered in full-time mode only. The NLU Meghalaya fee ranges from Rs. 3.50 lakhs to Rs. 8.75 lakhs.

The candidates must meet the eligibility criteria to apply for the NLU Meghalaya courses. The entrance exams conducted by the university for the UG and PG courses are the NLU Meg Undergraduate Admission Test (MEG UAT) and the NLU Meg Postgraduate Admission Test (MEG PAT) respectively. For the NLU Meghalaya PG admissions, the shortlisted candidate must attend a personal interview round.
